Cancer Screening Camp at Zameen Endathur PHC, Madurantakam on 12-08-2026

20 people from Zameen Endathur came forward to take an important step towards protecting their health through early cancer screening.

At the Project Sunkalp cancer screening camp held at Zameen Endathur PHC, Madurantakam, both women and men from the community participated:

15 clinical breast examinations
20 oral cancer examinations
1 Pap smear screening

The camp brought together 15 women and 5 men, reminding us that cancer awareness and early detection are important for every family and every community.

Cancer does not always show clear warning signs in its early stages. Regular screening can help identify suspicious changes sooner, giving individuals the opportunity to seek timely medical care and improve their chances of better outcomes.

For communities where access to specialised healthcare can be challenging, bringing screening services closer to home can make a meaningful difference. Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust is working to make preventive cancer screening more accessible across Madurantakam.
